Thank God

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

Its been a great week so far. Thank God for healing my left ankle and really feel so grateful for all the brothers and sisters in Christ that have been praying for me. Indeed our God is an awesome God. Scripture that really has been an impact to me this week is taken from Isaiah 53:4-5==> "Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED (King James Version). Glory be to God!!! Amen… =)

Its been so long not to post anything… All these while, things have been quite unstable. From the school activities, up to my personal walk with the Lord. Some people would call it back-sliding and there is a man of God who said that we walk out of the realm of grace. It’s been a struggling weeks for me to lead my daily life. One thing i know is deep inside my heart there is a desire of wanting to know more of Him and to become an effective vessel for HIM.

Currently myself and my friends have started a cell group for MDIS student. It is now consist of 5 members. It is very encouraging to start with the number of grace. Basically i am thrilled about how this cell has been formed by the Lord. For those who is visiting this blog, do keep us in prayer. The cell group takes place every wednesday at 5:15pm.

As you all can see from the title… yeah… i am having an injury on my left ankle now. it’s been swollen since this morning  and right now, it is so inconvenience to make any move or to walk properly. i am going to pray more and give thanks to God for the healing of my ankle =) Amen

These few days had been a great moment that I will never forget. Basically it’s all started since tuesday night when i worked for 13 hours and wednesday night for 14 hours in KL. Have been really stretching myself though.. However it’s worth the time and i did enjoy myself so much =) Wednesday night was a good one for me. Managed to visit the new office at Ampang. I liked the environment there. Finished work around 11 plus at night. From there i was wondering whether i should take cab to KLCC to catch LRT or just walked to ampang station. After asked here and there finally i decided to walk to the station. At first i thought that it is quite near when i looked at the map at the hotel lobby.

So i walked slowly and soon realised that i almost missed the last train… Was kinda panic, so, i decided to walk fast and it was just a perfect time to catch the last train to Kelana Jaya. So as i stepped in the train, it was quite empty.. First, i decided not to sit but instead i stood at the very front of the train where it is the place for manual control of the train. The train travel and finally came out from the underground tunnel. As it travelled out the city was indeed really quiet and all i could see was buildings and mountains. It was a good time for rewinding and relaxing though =)

After some time, i finally reached the final station and met my parents. We decided to go for supper. That was our final night in KL before moving to JB. After the supper i decided to drive the car home even though i have not even took any formal driving lesson. It was a thrilling one and frankly speaking it was fun. Drove around the road for 30min to an hour and finally got home. Overall, my parents said that i did well haha..

After packing up my stuff, i went to have some rest before being awaken by my mom at 5:30 for another packing. Tiring but excited also.. Reason is because we decided to drive to JB from KL. To be frank is that none of us have drove for this trip. All i can recall is how the bus travel and which route it would normally travel. Anyway… my step father drove at first and i was the route seeker on thursday afternoon. It was a smooth travelling and half way of the journey, I took ever the control and started to drive on the highway. At that time, i was just feeling super duper excited because that was my very first time to drive on highway and i got basic at all.

To some of you maybe crazy to join me in the same car.. Of course I did my prayer as usual and seek God for blessing of journey mercy. Well as i drove the first few hundred metres, i did fell a cold sweat, because there were so many cars and buses travelling at 110Km/hr… Anyway… i continued to drive and let the car picked up the speed.. It was a breathe-taking moment and as the car showed travelling at 95km/hr, i myself felt stabilized and start to join the rest of the cars to cut lorries and busses and cars. First time driving was really a good one for me.. I thank God for the opportunity that we all manage to drive and reach the destination safely. Haha… One thing i found out is that as i drove, i didnt really feel how fast the car has travelled.. Everything seems to be in uniform speed..

So those few days have been great days for me. Right now i am back to singapore. Will take some time to adjust myself back to study mode and get myself prepared to meet my classmates as well a group mates again. i do look forward to a good team-work in the group again. =) hahaha
